We invited our friends to come and stay with us in Fourwinds for a short February break. We promised them some Spring sunshine and West Wales didn’t let us down!! I love sharing the amazing places from my childhood with friends and Penbryn Beach is one of the most beautiful nearby beaches! We took the woodland walk from the back of the National Trust car park, behind the Plwmp Tart cafe/bar, past the waterfall, over the bridge and along the path through the beautiful woodland which winds it’s way down to Penbryn Beach. The long sandy beach is sheltered by spectacular rocky cliffs with a cave at one end. When the tide is out you can walk along to the next two bays with more caves and waterfalls. The shallow sandy beach is perfect for families, with caves, rockpools and sand dunes to keep the kids entertained.
